Io vi chiedo. Come può crescere una gara in un ambiente come questo, dove il restare all'aperto è contingentato.

Questo guarda solo al denaro e con organizzatori e team deboli farà quello che Ecclestone non riuscì a fare nella Formula Uno, quando tentò di trasferire tutto alla pay-tv ma fu stoppato dai team (Montezemolo e Ferrari in primis) che gli bruciarono il lato b col lanciafiamme, timorosi di un calo degli ascolti massivi e quindi dei loro business.

Se nella Formula Uno era un jattura, nel ciclismo sarebbe la morte subitanea.
